Philipp Eisenhauer is an economist studying risk and ambiguity in economic models. He is currently a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Bonn's Institute for Applied Microeconomics, working with Armin Falk. He was previously a Postdoctoral Scholar at The University of Chicago, a doctoral researcher at the University of Mannheim (Chair of Prof. Franz), and part of the ZEW Leibniz research network on noncognitive skills. He studied Economics at the University of Mannheim and Universite Libre de Bruxelles, Brussels. Since 2007 Philipp Eisenhauer has been a member of the ZEW Doctoral Studies Network and a student at the Center for Doctoral Studies in Economics (CDSE) at the University of Mannheim. Eisenhauer's research focuses on the effect of ambiguity on human capital investments in dynamic life-cycle models. He hopes to gain a better understanding of the observed investment patterns and the effectiveness of human capital policies.

Eisenhauer received a diploma in Economics from the University of Mannheim in 2007, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences (GESS) in Mannheim, Germany in 2012.
