Fabian Kindermann is a Professor of Economics at the University of Regensburg and a Junior Research Fellow at the Network for the Studies on Pensions, Ageing and Retirement (Netspar). Before he has been a Postdoc Visiting Scholar at Northwestern University and Assistant Professor at University of Wuerzburg. His research interests are in Public Economics and Macroeconomics. Dr. Kindermann's current research focuses on education finance and education decisions, family economics, social security, and optimal tax policy. His work has been published in the European Economic Review, Review of Economic Dynamics, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Journal of Human Capital, Journal of Pension Economics and Finance, and Computational Economics.

Kindermann received a Vordiplom and Diplom, both in Economathematics, and a Dr. rer. pol. in Economics all from the University of Wuerzburg in 2005, 2008, and 2012 respectively.
