HCEO is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for a week-long Faculty Training Seminar, to be held at Jinan University in Guangzhou, China.

The seminar is designed to foster collaboration between American and Chinese starting faculty and post-doctoral scholars working in economics. The program will include rigorous lectures from leading faculty on topics including intergenerational mobility, program evaluation, skill formation, economic theory, and structural modeling. Participants will be given the opportunity to present their own work and participate in working groups organized around shared research interests. Housing and meals will be provided to all participants for the duration of the program in Guangzhou.

The Faculty Training Seminar is the first in HCEO's summer programming series. We are also hosting a Student Training Seminar at Peking University, a Summer School on Socioeconomic Inequality (SSSI) in Bonn, Germany, and a Masters-Level SSSI at the University of Chicago.
