ReadyNation and HCEO hosted a conference call on pay for success (PFS) social impact finance theory and econometrics. Speakers discussed the recent paper, "Financing Human Capital Development for Economically Disadvantaged Children: Applying Pay for Success Social Impact Finance to Early Child Development" by Janis A. Dubno, Robert H. Dugger, and Michelle R. Smith, and reviewed statistical findings from the Heinz Foundation 2007 Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts study and applications of PFS finance to pay for pre-kindergarten in Salt Lake City and home visiting in South Carolina.
