Eric Chyn, the first ever HCEO dissertation prize winner, will present "Moved to Opportunity: The Long-Run Effect of Public Housing Demolition on Labor Market Outcomes of Children."

Chyn is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Virginia and a Faculty Research Fellow at the Rhode Island Innovative Policy Lab at Brown University. His research focuses primarily on labor and public economics. Recently, he has studied the effects of government programs on long-run outcomes of children. Chyn received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan.
