The objective of this conference is to bring together leading scholars to discuss the theory and empirics of prejudice and stigma as well as to highlight disciplinary differences and potential synergies in approaches. It will be jointly hosted by the Human Capital and Economic Opportunity Global Working Group and the Committee on Quantitative Methods in the Social, Behavioral, and Health Sciences at the University of Chicago.

The conference is organized around two thematic panels: the first, scheduled from 10am-12pm CST, will deal broadly with concepts and theory, and the second, scheduled from 1-3pm CST, will focus on measurement and empirics.
