This workshop focused on how early childhood interventions can help break the cycle of poverty and improve economic efficiency by promoting child development in China. The workshop (i) provided an overview of the policy context of early childhood development (ECD) in China, and (ii) discussed recent policy initiatives by the Chinese government.
