Sian Beilock

Sian Beilock is a professor in the Department of Psychology at The University of Chicago. Her research program sits at the intersection of cognitive science and education. She explores the cognitive and neural substrates of skill learning as well as the mechanisms by which performance breaks down in high-stress or high-pressure situations.

Kimberly Noble

Kimberly Noble is a developmental cognitive neuroscientist and pediatrician who studies socioeconomic disparities in children's neurocognitive development. She received her undergraduate, graduate, and medical degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and trained at the Sackler Institute for Developmental Psychobiology at Weill Cornell Medical College. She completed her pediatrics residency at Columbia University Medical Center/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of New York Presbyterian. She is now an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the G.H.

Ifat Levy

Ifat Levy is an assistant professor of comparative medicine and neurobiology at Yale School of Medicine. She was trained as a computational neuroscience, and as a graduate student she used functional MRI to study the visual cortex. During her postdoc training she turned to the field of decision-making, and has been studying the neural basis of decision-making ever since. Her lab's research focuses on decision-making under uncertainty. They study the effects of different types of uncertainty on valuation and choices and on their neural correlates.

Adele Diamond

Adele Diamond is the Canada Research Chair Tier 1 Professor of Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of British Columbia, and has been studying executive functions and the prefrontal cortex. Her current research is changing our understanding of the prefrontal dopamine system and of gender differences in that, and affecting early education practices about the possibility of intervening early to improve executive functions to head off mental-health and academic problems.

Turhan Canli

Turhan Canli is an Associate Professor of Integrative Neuroscience at Stony Brook University. Canli's primary research interests cover the fields of psychology, neuroscience, and molecular biology. Dr. Canli is the Director of the Graduate Program in Genetics, which coordinates education and training activities across 100 laboratories at Stony Brook University, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, and Brookhaven National Laboratory, and currently supports 50 Ph.D. students in Genetics.
