Description

A large body of recent research has documented the high level of persistence of socioeconomic status across generations throughout the world. This conference asessed the state of this evidence and considered the mechanisms underlying observed levels of persistence. Leading experts on intergenerational mobility shared original research and papers will be commissioned to appear in a special issue in the Scandinavian Journal of Economics.
